Warren County's largest street and music festival returns to Washington Oct. 2
Festival in the Borough features 3 stages of music, family fun, more; kickoff Friday night! Jimmy & the Parrots, Quimby Mountain Band, Magnum, Plainfield Slim, Kate & Paul, Cairo, more on Saturday!

Warren County's largest street and music festival takes center stage this weekend.
 
The 6th annual event, which attracts thousands of people each year from throughout Northern and Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, features three stages of music on Saturday Oct. 2.
 
The PNC Stage kicks things off on Saturday with Thick Leather Brick at 12 noon, and then Only Living Boy and Quimby Mountain Band.
 
As the day moves on, on the main Stage Magnum, Cairo and Jimmy & The Parrots.
 
Plainfield Slim & The Groundhawgs is the headliner the New Jersey American Water Blues Stage

In all, there will be 20-plus musical acts, including several acoustic performers at the Acoustic Tent hosted by Homegrown Radio with Chasing June, Dina Hall, Gabe Zander and Kate & Paul.
  And there's more music at Andy's Barber Shop in the afternoon with Davey Werkhiser from Davey and the Waverunners (1 p.m.) and another special performance with Kate & Paul (2 p.m.).
 
The presenting sponsor for this year's festival is PNC Bank. Other major sponsors include BASF, Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Investor Savings, New Jersey American Water, Comcast, 99.9 The Hawk, WRNJ Radio, Taylor Rental of Washington, Good Impressions Printing & Mailing, Comcast, MoPromo, and The Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission. 
 

The Festival in the Borough kicks off with "FIB Eve" on Friday Oct. 1, with a free cruise night downtown that will include the weekly farmers market, live music and good food from 3-8 p.m. Friday music starts mid-afternoon and continues through til 8 p.m. with Eternal Circle, Lisamarie Dombrowski, Mef & Angela, and starting at 6:30, One Step Beyond featuring former members of Lucky Seven.   
 
Also nearly 100 craft and specialty vendors, as well as numerous participating downtown businesses.
 
Following the activities downtown on Saturday night there will be a late show featuring Too Stupid Too Quit and Davey and the Waveunners at the Washington Theater. 
 
Admission is free and there's plenty of free parking, too.
