This week, you can learn more about:
Garden Party for Kids & Families at Junior Gala Aug. 27

We're rolling out the red carpet for our 
younger patrons, so put on your party clothes and dancing shoes for our first Literary Legends Junior Gala!
 
This special evening event on Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Bach Branch is a garden party with music, dancing, and refreshments -- all designed for youngsters and their families. The Junior Gala is a fundraiser for the APL Foundation, which will be honoring local children's book author Athena Lord as an Albany Literary Legend this fall.
 
Tickets for the Junior Gala are $25 per family and can be purchased online. Proceeds benefit the library through the APL Foundation!
