Gathering Thyme Newsletter: New Hours - Earth Day Marin

The Earth Day Marin Festival is a fun, free event for all ages, now in it's second year. Earth Day Marin's goal is to galvanize a greater level of community action on environmental issues. The day includes music, speakers, workshops, a teen-led TeenSpot & stage, a kid zone (including some bilingual activities in English/Spanish) and the leading organizations, businesses, agencies, artisans/craftspeople, farmers/food producers and others moving us towards a healthy, environmentally sustainable and positive future.

There will be some incredible music including Zulu Spear as well as the Earth Day All Star Band featuring musicians from Jefferson Starship, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Quicksilver, and the Bonnie Raitt Band. Check out the robust Kid Zone, chock full of hands-on activities and entertainment for the wee set... or attend the Champion Chef Local Foods Challenge.

Come visit our booth where we will be offering an Herbal Salve-Making Demonstration and Herbs 101 mini-workshops as well as mini-massages and reflective card readings. Interested in holistic healthcare? Come meet our practitioners and sign up for free raffle prizes. We'll also be giving away samples from Healthforce Nutritionals as well as Devita Skincare and Host Defense's medicinal mushroom formulas!
