Dear (Contact First Name), It's almost a lost art, the magic of recurving a conventional distributor, for maximum performance. Seems like in the old days, every hot rod shop had a Sun Machine, tucked away in the back room somewhere. Usually it was operated by a odd guy who really didn't say much, and walked around slightly bend over, all day long. You knew you were among the elite, if you could pull the spark shooter, get it recurved, and time the thing back in to right where it was supposed to be. Not a task for the guys who just put stickers on their rear window. And whatever the old boy did, sure seemed to work. It showed up on your time slips at the drag strip, the following weekend. We are glad to offer this all but lost service, once again. Our Sun machine is completely reconditioned, right down to the new silk screen markings, on the front. We graph and print out the final results of numerous runs on this old school test bed, and use only the best of replacement parts, from companies such as Moroso, MSD, and Pertronix.
