General Manager/CEO
Rowley (MA) Municipal Lighting Plant has unique career opportunity for a strong, experienced, business oriented General Manager. The right individual will be responsible for all aspects of leading this department serving nearly 3,000 customers, with electrical revenues in excess of $6 million. To qualify, you must have strong operational, management and business skills; public power experience; and the ability to work effectively and openly with town government, customers and employees.
You will have full responsibility for the full operations and management of the light department. Significant experience in electric utility operations, private or municipal owned, is a must. The ability to communicate to a number of diverse constituencies is essential. This is a unique opportunity for the career minded manager. Strong project management skills are critical as solar and wind turbine projects are being proposed for the community.
