Health Care Update
Yesterday, the U.S. Senate passed a Motion to Proceed on health care legislation, then failed to pass an updated version of the "Better Care Reconciliation Act" that would have gutted Medicaid and left millions without health insurance. But other efforts continue to repeal critical health care for children, youth, older adults and their caregivers.
Call your Senators today 202-224-3121 tell them "protect our health care. Reject every attempt to take away coverage from millions of people."

Major News Outlet Seeks Grandfamilies Impacted by the Current Opioid Crisis
A national news outlet is planning a story on the current opioid crisis that focuses on grandparents raising grandchildren because the parents suffered from drug misuse. They are looking to talk to grandparents on camera about how their lives have changed and the challenges they face, and they would also seek to have the children appear on camera. If you're interested, or know a family that is,

|
|
Culture United
The Generation Game, a British game show produced by the BBC, will be revived by The Great British Bake Off hosts, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins. In the original Generations Game, four teams of two people from the same family, but different generations, competed against one another to win prizes.
The new version of the seventies classic will have a four-episode run to begin with. The show will be updated with new games and challenges for families of all ages to play in studio and enjoy watching at home.
