Sen. Tammy Baldwin to Receive Generations United's 2017 Jack Ossofsky Lifetime Achievement Award

We're thrilled to announce that Senator Tammy Baldwin has been named as the recipient of Generations United's Jack Ossofsky Award for Lifetime Achievement in Support of Children, Youth and Older Adults for 2017. The award is a lasting tribute to Jack Ossofsky, who was executive director of the National Council on Aging, and one of the co-founders and early leaders of Generations United.

Senator Baldwin, an honorary co-chair of Generations United's National Center on Grandfamilies Council, has worked tirelessly to promote policies that bring all generations together, particularly her work to raise the visibility of grandparents raising grandchildren. Senator Baldwin will be receiving the award on June 16 at the 19th Global Intergenerational Conference, Generations Remixed, taking place in Milwaukee, WI. Learn more about the conference.
