Senators Collins and Casey to Receive Generations United's Grandfamilies Champion Award!
We're thrilled to announce that
Senator Susan Collins
and
Senator Bob Casey
will accept the award during our
2017 State of Grandfamilies
Report release event
on
Sept. 13, at 5 p.m., in the Dirksen Senate Office Building (Room G-11).
The report
will focus on the critical role of grandparents and other relatives in providing safe, nurturing and stable homes for children who have experienced trauma. Register today!

Valuing Vaccinations Across Generations, an awareness-raising campaign that promotes vaccines for all ages. In the United States, the campaign started in partnerships between Generations United, the Gerontological Society of America and the American Academy of Pediatrics with support from Pfizer.

Dana Bloch, a young PhD candidate, collected hundreds of video footage of holocaust survivors retelling their stories for her thesis. The only story that escapes her is the one from her estranged grandmother, Ethel. As Dana gets closer to Ethel revealing her story, she realizes that the person in front of her is far more interesting than the story she intended to get.
