Cool Ideas
Community Godmothers
This week's cool idea is Community Godmothers. The godmothers, "madrinas," reach out to new mothers, offer breastfeeding information and classes, make home visits and provide emotional support. But this program is not just for moms, it educates dads and grandparents too about breastfeeding and how everyone can play a role in supporting mothers and babies. Learn more.
