Dear Friend of Generations United:

Thank you....Just two small words, but they can never be said enough.

Thank you...for your continuing support, for caring about all generations and for believing in us. Your generosity has enabled us to remain a vital force in connecting generations. Because of you, our small staff moved mountains this year-and provided the guidance and resources the intergenerational field needs to strengthen and grow. Here are some of our highlights:

• Releasing, in partnership with The Generations Initiative, Out of Many, One: Uniting the Changing Faces of America, our fourth annual signature report, which highlights ways to catalyze opportunities provided by the demographic changes.

• Hosting Intergenerational Pathways for Strengthening Communities: Generations United's 17th International Conference, which brought together over 300 experts from around the world to discuss and revitalize intergenerational practices and policies.

• Holding a national convening of leaders, caregivers and  youth to discuss, coordinate and prioritize plans for grandfamilies.

• Presenting Best Intergenerational Communities Award Recognition to four incredible communities for their intentional work to promote meaningful connections between generations and enabling people of all ages to be engaged in their communities.

• Donna named for the second year in a row to the NonProfit Times Top 50 Power and Influence.

• Participating in Pfizer GetOld, a partnership launched in Time Square in June designed to encourage people to be the best they can at every age.     

• Kicking off Nebraska Early Childhood Grandparent Network, a collective of grandparents raising their grand voices in support of quality early experiences for young Nebraskans.

• Donna meeting with Federal Reserve Board of Governors to discuss aging issues and recommendations.

• Producing Grand Resources: A Grandparent's and Other Relative's Guide to Raising Children with Disabilities, a free printable online resource that empowers caregivers with answers to frequently asked questions, tip sheets, checklists and other resources.

• Hosting Intergenerational Pathways for Strengthening Communities: Generations United's 17th International Conference, which brought together over 300 experts from around the world to discuss and revitalize intergenerational practices and policies.

• Receiving an invitation to present at the United Nations during the International Day of the Family Celebration.
