COURSE DESCRIPTION

The collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of geospatial health data require the use of geographic information system (GIS). When used optimally, GIS is a powerful information management tool for analysis and decision making across the biomedical research and healthcare delivery continuum.

The primary goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive introduction to geomedicine and GIS applications in the healthcare field.

Course is designed for healthcare professionals with primary roles in clinical care and research who have little to no training in geospatial analysis or geomedicine.
