Saturday, March 18th Mayor Holt, City Council, volunteers, city employees, organizations, and businesses will team up to target street rights-of-way that are heavily littered.
Volunteers will meet in the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum parking lot or previously designated area at 8:00 a.m. The event will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Join First Metro Bank for the 5th Annual Runnin' Around Downtown 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Every penny raised from Runnin' Around Downtown will benefit the Shoals Scholar Dollars program to assist local students achieve their dream of a college degree.

Isabelle Gautier: Life is a Long Flowing River
Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts is pleased to present Life is a Long Flowing River, an exhibition of travel and season influenced paintings, by Isabelle Gautier. The exhibition will run from March 2 through April 7 with an opening gallery talk with Isabelle Friday, March 3 at 6 p.m.
