Georgia National Rodeo
The 23rd annual Georgia National Rodeo is sanctioned by the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association). The Rodeo features specialty acts plus cowboys and cowgirls from across the country competing in seven events: saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, bull riding, and barrel racing.
The purchase of a Rodeo ticket supports agricultural youth programs at the Fairgrounds; specifically the Georgia National Junior Livestock Show, February 20-24.
Points earned at the Georgia National Rodeo qualify riders for the National Finals Rodeo held every December in Las Vegas.
The Georgia National Rodeo has been designated as a Southeast Tourism Society "Top 20 Event for the Month of February" eight times (2004-2008, 2010, 2011, 2013).
