WNCC Brings in Research Analysts to Explain
Recently Released Workforce Development Data
Western Nebraska Community College is hosting a workforce data release event on Monday, June 20 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the John N. Harms Advanced Technology Center.
Jennifer Gildersleeve and Dillon Cornett, research analysts with the Office of Labor Market Information Office at the Nebraska Department of Labor will be on hand to present the information and answer questions about its relevance to the panhandle.

The presentation reports on the findings from the Skills Gap report recently completed by Dr. Eric Thompson from the Bureau of Business Research at the University of Nebraska. These findings are the result of a study done through household and employer surveys in the Scottsbluff/Gering area including commuting patterns within the panhandle.
"This presentation will deliver an objective look at opportunities and struggles facing our region's workforce," says Jason Stratman, Dean of Workforce Development. "Such information is vital to our regional economy."
