Wheel-Thrown Pottery with Samantha Mathewson
This class is designed for beginning through intermediate students. Learn how to wedge and center clay, throw cylinders and eventually make functional and decorative pottery. Tuesdays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, September 1 - October 20 (eight classes); $200 plus $25 materials fee; 16 & up.

Handbuilt Ceramics with Amy Manson
Did you know that beautiful and functional ceramics can be made simply without using the pottery wheel? With this ancient art form, the possibilities are endless. Discover what you can create with a few simple hand building techniques.  Tuesdays, September 8 through October 27, (eight classes) 10 am - 1 pm, $200 plus $25 materials fee, Age 16 & up.

Life Drawing Sessions:
Life Drawing is a great way to quickly improve your observational skills, which is great practice for any artist. The attention to visual reality helps hone an understanding of how forms and light relate. Just $10 per session, or $30 for four sessions. Tuesdays, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm; $10 per person; age 18 & up; bring your own drawing supplies.

Palettes & Materials Workshop with Jessica Wilson: 
This workshop is geared toward beginning to advanced oil painters who work outdoors or in the studio. Personalize your palette to express ideas or moods, select a medium based on working properties and conditions, and improve studio safety.  Free Gamblin samples included! Saturday, September 5, 1:30 pm to 5 pm. $75, 18 & up..

The Golden Hour: Creating Good Photos with Sarah Huntington:
Equipment isn't as important as vision when you're making photos.  Photographer Sarah Huntington will help you work with any camera you have! Wednesdays, September 9 - 30 5 - 7 pm, $180 plus $20 materials, 12 & up.

Beginning to Advanced Wheel-Thrown Pottery with Shawn Grove:
Learn the basics of pottery and clay properties, cutting, wedging, centering on the pottery wheel, and making basic forms, or expand your skills and explore more compex shapes and surface techniques including carving, slip trailing and more. There is an additional option to learn about wood firing for experienced potters with permission of instructor.  Mondays, 7 pm - 10 pm, (eight classes), starting September 14. $200 plus $25 for materials. Ages 15 & up. 

Surface Treatments for Ceramics with Carrie Althouse
Potter Carrie Althouse presents this fun class for intermediate and experienced potters ready to take their surfaces to the next level.  Learn about sgraffito patterning and image transfer, wax layering, shellac resist and more. Apply these techniques to leather hard and bisque-fired pieces.  Fridays, September 18 through November 6, 11 am - 2 pm, $200 plus $25 materials fee, Ages 18 & up.

Our September Handy Hour: Swirladelic Silk Scarves (see photo at top of page)
Make a beautiful marbled silk scarf to wear or to give as a gift. No experience necessary! Create your own swirled design using a water and dye method. Then transfer that design to a 100% silk scarf. Refreshments included -- some of us may even visit Bogati Winery next door for a glass of wine!  Friday, September 18, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, $20 plus $30 materials fee, age 16 & up.

Exploring Ceramics Saturday Kids Class with Hannah Janney: .Join instructor Hannah Janney for fun weekly adventures in clay. Learn hand-building, wheel, sculpture, and glazing techniques. Parents are welcome to register as well! Saturdays, September 19 through October 10 (four classes), 10 am to 11 pm, $100 plus $25 materials, Ages 7 & up.

Intermediate and Advanced  Wheel-Thrown Pottery with Sandi Fanning
This class is primarily for students with wheel throwing experience and will present special projects to challenge each student's abilities. Pottery students will continue to learn about throwing on the wheel as well as glazing, firing, and other techniques.  Mondays, 10 am to 1 pm, September 21 through November 9; $200 plus $25 materials fee for eight classes. Ages 18 & up. 


Adventures in Art with Amy Manson
Adventures in Art  for Kids with Amy Manson
Artist Amy Manson leads this dynamic class, which encourages children's natural interest in exploring their own creativity.  Children will imagine, draw, paint, sculpt and design, while learning about various artists, and artistic styles. Children will explore multiple mediums and develop new skills. Students will work on new projects each session. 
Saturdays, 10 am - 12 pm, September 26 through October 31 (six classes), $225. Ages 7-13

Get Me Started Series: Pumpkins & Gourds Still Life Painting with Dana Thompson
It's easier to paint with oils than you think! Accomplished painter Dana Thompson will introduce the basics of oil painting, from compostion to color theory.  Dana will set up a beautiful autumn still life to inspire you. You'll be amazed at what you can do in three hours! Saturday, September 26, 1 pm - 4 pm, $50 includes supplies.
