HELP SUPPORT THE BRIDGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY!
We are excited and grateful that we were chosen for the Hannaford Cause Bag Program for the month of October! All this month we will receive $1 from each Hannaford Helps bag purchased at the Bridgton Hannaford located at 109 Portland Rd. This is an amazing opportunity for the Bridgton Historical Society not only to raise funds, but to also spread awareness about our cause within the community.

Please show your support by purchasing these beautifully designed reusable bags. They can be found on the reusable bag rack and at various registers. As a reminder, the Hannaford Helps bag features the good karma message. Please share this news with family and friends as well. This will get our fiscal year, which starts in October, off to a flying start!

Thank you for your continued support,

Halloween Party
Bridgton Recreation is looking for any groups/organizations that would like to run a table at the Halloween party they provide in Bridgton. The party goes from 5:30-8. This is a great opportunity to connect with up to 400 people. Three years ago we had close to 600 people come in and out of the Town Hall. All you would need to do is contact Gary Colello - 207-647-8786 or [email protected] and let him know you want to volunteer, you would then be set up with a table. You can have your organizations information available for people to take. When the party is over all you need to do is clean up your table and that’s it!!! I can provide the candy and games if needed!

A flyer will go home with kids in school. Please let Gary know if you can help me so I can help you get your info out to the community

RTP has been working closely with the Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG), Maine Department of Transportation and the Public Health Program at the Opportunity Alliance (TOA) to increase the convenience and sustainability of this valuable service for the Lakes Region community.
A survey of over 400 Lakes Region residents, conducted by GPCOG and TOA this spring, indicated strong support for the service. One in six respondents noted that the lack of a vehicle, or reliable access to transportation, can be a barrier to employment for them.
