The Wednesday Market has been back in action for 1 month now, and we thought it was time we properly introduce you to our new mid-week vendors. We are very excited to welcome three new businesses to Wednesday afternoons at the market this season!

1. Huntington Provision Co. crafts scratch made nut butters, granola & other artisanal foods featuring all-natural, locally-sourced ingredients.

2. Homebucha is a grassroots kombucha company based in Durham using high quality organic ingredients and taste-centric fermentation methods.

3. Also joining us at the Saturday market this season, Phoenix Farm grows 70+ varieties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs in Snow Camp, NC.

Be sure to visit our new vendors' booths and try their wonderful products and produce!

See you tomorrow!

PEONIES!
More of our beautiful peonies will be available on Wednesday.

TOMATO PLANTS and MORE
Starter plants will continue to be available while supplies last. We will have a selection of tomato plant varieties (cherry, salad, and slicers -- both reliable hybrid and heirloom favorites), herbs, blackberries, peppers (both sweet and hot), vine crops and flower plants for your garden.

STRAWBERRIES
We will be bringing our PESTICIDE-FREE strawberries.

PRODUCE
We will have lettuce, chard and green garlic.

FROM OUR KITCHEN
Jams and Jellies!  We have our award-winning strawberry jam and blackberry jelly.  Also available are apple, peach and peach mango and onion jam.

All of Hurtgen Meadows produce, plants, fruits and flowers are naturally grown using sustainable practices - no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers are ever used on our farm.  We'll see you at the market!
Chapel Hill Creamery

We made a lot of our Dairyland Farmers Cheese and will offer it at a reduced price this Wednesday. It's a fresh, slightly tart cheese, popular with kids of all ages. It's good for snacking, salads, or melting. Use it in tacos, our Market Salad recipe, in scrambled eggs, or with hot pepper jelly with crackers. It highlights our fresh Jersey cows" milk.

Our Pheta is aged in a salt brine and is saltier than the Farmers cheese. Add it to salads, greens, pasta, or Tabouli. Our Carolina Moon is similar to a Brie, and is rich and creamy with a lot of flavor, and is ready to serve.

Sausage comes from our whey fed pigs and is made with the hams for a meaty taste. Choose from sage/maple breakfast; mild country breakfast, and Chorizo. Our Chorizo is hot with a flavorful mix of Mexican spices. Come pick up one of our recipes like the Chorizo tacos and taste a sample of our cheese.
