Art Night Out Lafayette

Pearl Street Arts Festival - Celebrating 40 Years

The Pearl Street Arts Festival is celebration of juried visual arts including painting, photography, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and more. The weekend event features beautiful exhibits from more than 100 artists from all around the country, plus children's art activities and live interactive performances. The Festival takes over the Pearl Street Mall on Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, visit

Stone Fruit Day at Longmont Farmers Market

Celebrate Colorado's stone fruit season at the Longmont Farmers Market, 9595 Nelson Road on Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring the family to taste all of the stone fruits: cherries, apricots, peaches, plums (might not be ready yet, but they are coming!). Enjoy free tastings of cherries and peaches (until they run out), watch cooking demonstrations, enjoy live music by Free Range Marmot and learn all about these market favorites from local farmers.

Colorado Shakespeare Festival

Enjoy epic love stories, family dramas and laugh-out-loud fun under the stars. The CSF 2018 season, running through August 12, features five plays -- three by Shakespeare -- performed beneath warm summer night skies in the beautiful Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre or in the newly renovated indoor University Theatre on the CU Campus. Farmer's Beer Dinner

The Post Brewing Co. is celebrating summer with a special Farmer's Beer Dinner on Tuesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lafayette Post Brewing location at 105 W. Emma Street. Chef Mike Nirenberg will prepare a four course feast using local, seasonal ingredients from Isabelle Farms and Oxford Gardens, which Brewmaster Brad Landman will pair with four limited-release Post summer beers.

Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance  Festival

Frequent Flyers celebrates 20 years of artistic aerial acrobatics this summer. Running  July 29-August 11the Aerial Dance Festival is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to experience the joy of dancing in the air, from beginners through advanced aerial dancers. This 2-week immersion provides classes, lectures/demonstrations, informal discussions, networking, and performances. The Performance Showcase at the Dairy Arts Center August 3-5 features  four shows with world-class aerial artists on rope, fabric, bungee, lyra, invented apparatus and more. Boulder County Fair & Rodeo

Established in 1869, the Boulder County Fair is the oldest fair in Colorado. 
The 2018 Fair runs Friday, August 3 - Sunday, August 11, with free daily gate admission and parking, and plenty of  fun, free kids' and family activities, demonstrations, live music, petting zoos and events throughout the week. Firefly Handmade Summer Expo

This local favorite artisan marketplace runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  Saturday,  August 4 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Sunday, August 5 in a  new location this sumer: the Boulder Main Library parking  lot, 1001 Arapahoe Ave . in central Boulder. 
     This summer's Firefly features  100+ new and returning indie artisans, plus live music, arts activities sponsored by  NoBo Art District, Open Studios and Boulder Public Library,  food trucks on site and the  ShutterBus mobile photo booth.
