A few years ago,
Ron got a call from a real estate agent he didn't know.
Ron asked her a question that he typically asks any agent
he's never worked with before. He wanted to know,
"How did you hear about me?"
The agent replied, "I'm calling because I like your nuts!"
To explain, we often hand out Spicy Orange Pecans at
real estate events. Ron's card is attached to each bag.
Apparently, this agent was nuts about our nuts!
What's the point?
WE GOT HER ATTENTION!
One of the most valuable lessons I ever learned about sales was
A * I * D * A.
I've never forgotten it and I apply this basic principle
to our marketing every time we reach out to people.
It's simple and effective
and in order of importance.
Once we have someone's attention,
the challenge is keeping their interest and
then creating the desire to take action.
We strive, every week, to make real connections with real people.
Since variety is the spice of life,
the content of our blogs is a blend of flavors....
Informational one week and fun the next.
And then, when an agent or client is ready to take action
and contact us to set up an inspection,
we follow through and provide them with
a home inspection experience that's "above the rest!"
