L-Shante' Faunteroy

L-Shante' is a first time Closed Door Entertainment  Actor. She appeared as Celie in the ETC's production of The Color Purple, and as Sarah in Ragtime.
She attended American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2010 in Los Angeles, CA.
She graduated from Chattanooga States Professional Acting Training Program in 2014, where she did numerous musicals such as You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy), Once on this Island (Asaka), Love Labours Lost (Jacquennetta), and many many more.

The joys of spring in Tennessee and North Georgia! One day it's cold, the next day it's hot, and the next is cold again! We never know what to expect or count on to know what each day will be like... but I can tell you what is sure to be hot: GHOST THE MUSICAL! Closed Door Entertainment is proud to present, Ghost The Musical, a live theatrical performance of this unforgettable story of loss and love. Reintroduce yourself to Sam, Molly, Oda Mae and Carl - four lives that become intertwined as a result of Sam's tragic death. Love is a powerful force and Sam is a lot closer than Molly thinks. Not yet ready for the after-life, Sam is a spirit watching over her and frantically trying to guide her life as she herself becomes the victim of a desperate killer. It's a supernatural race against time to prove to her that love really does last forever. Maybe he really will get the chance to tell Molly how much she means to him...

2016 Youth Summer Camp

When:  July 11 - 23, 2016

Where:  FSBC Theatre, inside the 
            Four Squares Business Center

Students of the CDE Youth Summer Camp will get to partake in acting, singing, dancing, and specialty master classes by professionals while also learning Seussical the Musical Jr! They will perform the show LIVE for the public on Friday July 22nd and Saturday July 23rd at 5:30pm open to the public! The entirety of the camp will take place all in one location that will be announced shortly. Students will be divided into groups and will more get an in-depth look at theatre terminology, technical theatre, tricks and techniques of the trade, how to prepare for an audition, how to audition, stage and theatre etiquette, improvisation and stage combat, and the opportunity be a part of a show that is put together in just 2 weeks. The camp is an all day (8-3) camp at Monday-Friday. Early and aftercare can be arranged if needed!

CDE is a local, Non-Profit Theatre company that specializes in Musical and Dinner Theatre. Drawing from local and regional talent, CDE produces some of the finest productions around, but we can't do it alone! We need donations from individuals and companies alike to be able to bring you shows full of dazzling sets, wowing costumes, and breathtaking moments in our beautiful local venues like the Tivoli and Memorial RKW Theatre.
