E-Weekly Header

April 15, 2013

Dear Girl Scout Family,

Our hearts are broken for those affected by the tragedy in Boston yesterday. Girl Scouts everywhere mourn with all of America.

This morning there was an article in the Washington Post with tips for talking to children about tragedy. Parents may find this useful. Adult volunteers please get permission from parents before discussing sensitive topics like this in your troop meeting (see Volunteer Essentials, page 41).
