Mia Saunders School of Ballet Presents The Nutcracker

Mia Saunders School of Ballet presents two performances of The Nutcracker. Earn your Nutcracker Patch and help others! All proceeds go to Centreville High School Drama Boosters for student scholarships adn Fisher House Foundation 501(c)(3); an organization that helps to support our military troop. The Girl Scouts are invited to a *pre-performance interview with Clara, The Prince, and The Sugar Plum Fairy and will receive a candy cane. (*Must register ahead.) The Nutcracker is performed by dancers ages 5-18 and many of them are Girl Scouts.

Little Golden Books FREE Exhibition

Little Golden Books transformed children's reading habits in the early 20th century. Prior to World War II, large-format, classic story books for children were prohibitively expensive and available to a privileged few. Little Golden Books offered new ideas and modern stories in an affordable format. The exhibit features a sampling of artist's proofs from several early Little Golden Books.
