Clara Barton is an excellent role model for young girls. These workshops are a fun and exciting way to learn about her role in American history. Combine the workshop with a free tour of Clara Barton's home. Experience how she lived and worked as president of the American Red Cross, then dress up in the period dress of her times, be photographed, and craft a holiday card in the style of her Christmas cards. Clara Barton did not decorate the house for the holidays, but she sent hundreds of cards during the season. Period costumes for adult leaders and boys as well. Participants keep their card and receive a digital file of their photographs. Fun for all, but reservations required.
