Multiple Levels

April is Financial Literacy Awareness Month!

On Tax Day, Monday April 15th, GSUSA will launch the findings of their latest study- Having it All- Girls and Financial Literacy. This study shows that girls do feel empowered to "have it all." They believe they can live the life they want: they can own a home, provide for their families, and give back to their communities. How can you help? Encourage the girls to earn one of the new Financial Literacy or Cookie Business Badges. Once you have completed a badge let us know and we will send you a free Capital One Financial Fitness Challenge Patch! More information can be found here: http://www.gscnc.org/capitalone.html

Financial Fitness Challenge

Badge of the Week

It might be tomorrow. It might be a year from now. Or it could be 10 years away. Someday, you will want to make a big purchase that you'll end up paying for over time. It could be a cell phone with a monthly service plan; a new car, which comes with loan payments; or even a new home, which includes a monthly mortgage payment. By earning this badge, you'll understand the long-term impact of making a big purchase, and how you need to be prepared to keep paying for it long after you've started to use it

If you have earned this badge this year, we will send you a free Financial Fitness Challenge Patch brought to you by Capital One!
