Enter the Environmental Leadership Contest
and you could win a VIP experience at the
Girl Scouts Rock the Mall event in June 2012
Have you ever heard the phrase "Think globally, act locally?" When learning about environmental issues like erosion, climate change, and endangered wildlife, you might ask yourself: the problem is so big, what can I do to help? Well, the answer is: you can do a lot. There are so many small things that you can do in your local community that add up in a big way globally, from turning off the lights when you leave the room to using rechargeable batteries and reusable cups. With over 300 million people in the United States alone, imagine how big of an impact there would be if everyone committed to doing just one small thing to help the environment.
