The President's Gallery by Madame Tussauds - Girl Scout Birthday Package

Girl Scouts and any friends or family accompanying the troop receive admission, a short "Girl Power" scavenger hunt, a 3-D personal wax hand (plus one color) and a commemorative patch for just $17.50 including tax!!


Fees: Girl $17.50

Adult $14.00 (if they don't want to do the package)
Tagalong $17.50 

To learn more about the amazing story of Madame Tussaud and the painstaking process of creating our world renowned wax figures the group can add an educational seminar which could help the scouts attain their Legacy Badge ($3.00). Additional add-ons include celebrity statues ($5.50), Presidential Photos ($11.00), Presidents guidebook ($3.00) or celebrity guidebook ($5.50).

Shooting Beauty: Everyone Deserves a Shot Patch Program

The Girl Scouts have a patch program based on the film Shooting Beauty that incorporates activities from the MEdia Journey and the Including ALL Girls Patch Program. Girls will have a unique opportunity to challenge the typical definitions of beauty and embrace their differences by viewing the film and participating in on-site activities. This is a great program to work on during Disability Awareness Month.


Cost: $5 per girl

Dine-Around Series  


Are you working toward your Gold Award? Have you already earned your Gold Award? If so, we'd love to have you join us for one of our Dine-Arounds this season.


What's a Dine-Around? Dine-Arounds are informal dinners, brunches, teas or other events that are hosted by Women's Advisory Board members at their homes or businesses.  They are a unique chance to gain insight from successful women and will prove to be an amazing networking session. Please note there is no cost to attend a Dine-Around.

Join the DC Step Showcase  

Volunteer Leadership Committee


Who: Girl Scout Adults


GSCNC is looking for dedicated people to serve on the DC Step Showcase volunteer leadership committee. The DC Step Showcase - one of GSCNC's Signature Events - is an annual favorite and has grown since it began seven years ago.


Girl Scout step teams practice through the year, and then come together at the showcase to perform their original routines, during a day of fun, celebration and community.


Have you been to the showcase the past few years and now want to get involved, or are you new to step and want to learn more? Either way, we have a role for you!
