GSCTX SPOTLIGHT
On Saturday, April 27, GSCTX recognized Silver Award, Gold Award and scholarship recipients along with the top cookie sellers and volunteers who go above and beyond. Congrats to all of those who were honored at the ceremony. You truly deserve it for your hard work! Our Gold Award girls were also featured in the Life & Arts section of the Austin American-Statesman this past month. For photos of our honorees, click here.

As the summer approaches and the temperature heats up, lots of people are finding ways to cool down. Troop 2417 did just that on a recent trip to Galveston. The girls planned the trip starting back in the fall when they set their sales goals for cookie season. Through January and February, the girls worked hard and met their goal earning enough funds for their trip and a chance to learn how to surf through Texas Surf Camps! The weather was warm, waves were perfect and the trip was filled with fun memories for the girls and their moms.
