December Newsletter
Friends of Clark Street,

As the year draws to a close, our team here at the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a "thank you" to each of you for your continued support of the Clark Street in Lincoln Park community. We have achieved so much this year, from many new and exciting businesses to great tasting events to enhancing the corridor's appearance and much more and we could not have done it without the help of our neighbors and visitors to the block. There's more work to be done, but we are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2017 with exciting initiatives ahead!

We wish you all a warm and safe holiday season and a very happy New Year!

Decking the Halls on Clark Street and Diversey Parkway

We know it's cold outside, but if you haven't noticed that Clark Street has gotten a little festive, you might want to take a stroll down the block! The light poles have been decorated with garland, ribbon, and wreaths all along the corridor. The planters and hanging baskets are bursting full of evergreen foliage and Mid North Park at Clark and Belden is lined with garland and bows.  Next time you're out and about on the street, be sure to snap a few festive photos and tag @ClarkLincolnPk on Instagram or Twitter .

Brilliantly  Lighting Up Lincoln Park

The event draws thousands of people to the area throughout the holiday season, so consider taking public transit or walking to the Zoo and exploring Clark Street in Lincoln Park for a nice dinner beforehand or a drink to warm up afterward.

Zoolights has recently adjusted its schedule and is now open every evening through the end of the year, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so plan accordingly!  For a complete schedule of dates and times for Zoolights, please click here .

Construction is expected to start in the first half of 2017. For more information about the project, check out this Curbed Chicago article and of course check back to VisitClarkStreet.com.
