Seeds of Hope Foundation, Don Mills/Steeles, seeks Accounting Mentors for its Addiction for Youth project. Mentor 4 accounting students with their non-profit books, help create a bookkeeping system in Quick books and train students how to use it. Age 55+, prefer retired CA, able to use Quick books, Canadian/North American accounting experience preferred, can accept CPA/foreign experience. Junior/Senior Grant Writers to send out letters of intent, write grant proposals, evaluation plans, basic budget and work plans. Research and other support provided. Toronto Dollar Community Projects Inc. is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train and schedule volunteers to ensure a smooth running of the Toronto Dollar presence in the market. Position details as follows: The tasks of the volunteer coordinator are to recruit, train and be in touch with approximately 20 volunteers. We are looking for someone who is available on Saturday mornings to spend time managing volunteers at the St. Lawrence Market, Jarvis and Front. Change The World - 2012 Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge Opportunities
Malvern Family Resource Centre, Neilson/Sheppard, invites Earth Day Clean-up Volunteers to join the Malvern Youth Cabinet for a community Clean-Up on Wednesday, April 18th from 3:30-6:30 PM. They are looking to work in collaboration with other youth councils within the community by creating teams to sign-up for the clean-up. This event includes participation in the clean-up, a Sculpture Contest and light refreshments. This is a Change the World event and Certificate of Participation will be issued. Age 14-18.
