A Note From Lucille Olson
Our Life is a Garden

Like a tree that draws its life from the invisible roots, we draw our life from our connection with the Infinite Spirit. We are the precious children of our creator and that creative Spirit expresses through us.

Our life is our garden and it is our responsibility to cultivate it. We do this by learning to listen to our higher Self. We establish a relationship with our source to receive guidance through our intuition. We plant seeds based on our interests, talents, and abilities out of which will grow our dreams and aspirations. We guard against allowing weeds to grow that are contrary to our desired outcome, such as thoughts of fear, doubt, or indecision. We fertilize by learning what we need to know and developing a practice of connecting with that part of us that guides and directs us. Then we trust that our garden will produce.
Jesus, our brother and master teacher, demonstrated how to grow our garden by thinking, speaking, and acting from his divine nature. We all have that divine light of God within us, but we have to cultivate the ability to listen to our intuition, to speak words of truth, and to act from our divine authority. Our intuition is the part of us that knows where we are going, what we need, and will give us the next step we need to take.

A large part of growing our life garden is the recognition that everyone has divine qualities. We all want to belong, to be accepted, to have people we care about and who care about us. Thus it is important that we acknowledge our fellow gardeners and treat them as we want to be treated. Helping one another is a part of the divine plan.
Cultivating our life garden requires that we strive to live in harmony and peace; to love with open hearts, to proceed with right actions, and to relate and help others along the way, and to know our unity with everyone and everything. The harvest will be a life of fulfillment and contentment.
