Valued Subscriber,
I hope you're doing well! In a previous email, I mentioned that Glen-L headquarters would be moving from the location we've been at since 1956. Well, the time has come!
We'll be moving next week, May 21-25 and may be closed for most of that time. We should be able to process orders on Monday and Tuesday, but the trucks are coming to start moving us on Tuesday afternoon. Our plan is to open at our new location on May 29th--the day after Memorial Day.
What a challenging time this has been. Plus, our friend and Naval Architect Ken Hankinson passed away April 25th. We have a blog post tribute to Ken on our site here.
Then, my husband John and I lost our 15 year old Chocolate Lab Buckshot on May 4th. It's been a heartbreaking few weeks, to say the least.
On the bright side, Glen-L Marine is still going strong and will continue to be here to serve you in our new location for many years to come. The photo below is of our new place prior to our purchasing it--we don't have any signage yet. It's a two-story commercial unit with an attached warehouse. We will occupy the downstairs office and warehouse and lease out the upper level.
We are so excited for our office to be minutes from home as opposed to an hour away. That's it for now--we should get back to our regular communications before too long.
Until then, build more boats...Glen-L boats that is!
At Your Service,
Gayle Brantuk
