Suicide Prevention Programs at Ohio State
In its eleventh year, the Ohio State Suicide Prevention Program has a wide range of partnerships and programs to offer academic programs and international students.
REACH is a 90-minute training that teaches participants about suicide risk and how to engage an individual who may be in distress.  Nearly 10,000 students, staff and faculty have already participated in this training. For more information, or to schedule a training, visit

RUOK? Buckeyes is an anonymous screening program designed to identify students at risk of suicide and encourage them to get help. The online screening provides confidential feedback on stress and depression levels, and anonymously connects students with a counselor who provides links to campus resources. You can find more information about RUOK? Buckeyes on the Suicide Prevention Program's website. For more information on implementing RUOK? Buckeyes in your graduate/professional program, contact Gayle Garcia.
