A PRAYER FOR A PEACEFUL EVOLUTION TOWARD A WORLD-WIDE FINANCIAL REFORMATION. Financial Reform is a major area of action in the slow evolution from a secular/material worldview to a new spiritual way of life. And how we handle Money is at the heart of this transition.

Here's where we are. For decades, European and American politicians have made more promises to citizens than their economies can support. Why? To simply buy votes. "Vote for us and we'll give you better pay, pensions, pubic services, and corporate welfare." The problem is, as is the case with any family, when politicians borrow money to spend, the credit card is eventually exhausted. Now, no one will lend governments any more money. So governments everywhere are simply printing money, devaluing their currency's purchasing power, and setting up devastating inflation. They try taxing more, but taxing decreases the amount of investment in the economy, so the economy slows and then fewer taxes are then due -- creating a downward, inflationary spiral toward even more borrowing and printing.

This is what's happening in Europe, and what's about to happen in the US. What to do about it was the theme of today's pivotal Italian election. Italy was heading along a path of austerity, cutting back on some government services to survive economically. But voters seemed to have voted for those rejecting any spending cuts being made, creating an upsurge of fear in Euro-land, downward pressure in stock markets, and even less private investment to create jobs.

As people who believe all this is part of an evolution toward a more honest and spiritual financial system, our course is clear. Hold a vision that this old money world of greed and corruption will be replaced by an intuitively guided, inspired swelling of creative thinking that can improve the situation. Join us as we prayerfully visualize a rejuvenated and renewed economy based on true service to others, tithes and gifts to the needy, and a collective, grass-roots effort to restore integrity all through the system.
