Thank you for being a member of the Prayer Partner Alliance. It is through prayer that our first Christian Care Home was built in Fort Myers. It will be through prayer that God will reveal to us His plans for the future of Protected Harbor and our very special residents. We thank you for keeping this ministry in your prayers!   
 
Praise Be to God for a Glorious Groundbreaking Ceremony

On Monday, February 27th, we were blessed to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for our second Protected Harbor home. This home will provide men with developmental disabilities with a loving home and programs to help them grow both spiritually and emotionally. The home will welcome its first residents in Fall of 2017.

After being welcomed by Protected Harbor President Bob Schubring, the crowd was led in prayer by Dr. Mark Gonzales, Executive Director of Royal Palm Baptist Association. Commissioner Brian Hamman addressed the guests with encouraging remarks for the future of this organization and the building.

President Bob Schubring invited community leaders to join him in breaking ground for the first time. He then invited future resident Dennis Ellis and his parents, Pat and Whitey to participate in the breaking of ground.

Following the ceremonial groundbreaking, Dr. Hayes Wicker Jr., Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Naples, finished with closing remarks, blessing of the land, and prayer.

What a glorious and remarkable day for our organization and for our community. May God continue to bless the work being done to provide programs and services through Protected Harbor.

Protected Harbor will provide Dennis and so many others with the opportunity to reach their full potential in life.

Future Home: Preparing for Construction

Please join us in praising God for continued progress. The groundbreaking ceremony has taken place and Protected Harbor is excited to welcome our first residents and grow to have four residents by the end of 2017. However, approximately $200,000 is still needed to complete the project and ensure our success in caring for our residents.

Please prayerfully consider making a contribution to fill this gap. Please keep us in your prayers as Protected Harbor moves ahead in preparation for construction.
