Volunteers wanted for Renew the Ranch

On Saturday, April 22 volunteers throughout the community will team up to help keep Highlands Ranch beautiful. Volunteers are invited to participate in Renew the Ranch from 9 until 11 a.m. to clean up designated park and open space areas in the community.
Renew the Ranch is a kid-friendly activity. Groups, families and individuals are all encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together and for high school students to earn community service hours required for graduation.
To volunteer, please contact Kari Larese at 720-240-4909 or klarese@highlandsranch.org. After you register, you will be contacted prior to the event with the park location you will be assigned to.
Lost and found

Have you lost an item in a Metro District park? If so, there's a chance we're holding it in our lost and found. To find out if we have your item, please call our Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Service Center at 303-791-2710. Give us a detailed description of the item and we'll check to see if we have it. If we have an item that matches the description, you are welcome to visit our office at the west end of Redstone Park, to view it and claim it if it's yours.

This office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. We hold all items for at least 30 days before donating them to local charities.
Foundation seeks new board members
The Highlands Ranch Park and Recreation Foundation is on the lookout for new board members. The foundation is currently seeking new board members to fill vacancies on its Board of Trustees. Interested individuals should have an interest in the Highlands Ranch community. Board meetings are typically held the first Monday of the month at the Metro District's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Service Center at 6:15 p.m.

To learn more about becoming a board member or how to apply, contact Carrie Ward at 303-791-2710 or cward@highlandsranch.org.
