On this exact date, June 1, 2014, I posted a message entitled:
Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes!!
PS-This is THE month I officially become a SENIOR CITIZEN-6/30/51!!
A very special HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO MS. ANNETTE BERGER!!!
I cannot remember the exact quote I heard but someone said/posted/wrote "that construction/renewal/renovation is by definition a MESSY process!"
BEFORE anything NEW can be erected, first the destruction of the OLD must occur!!
One cannot grasp the NEW if they refuse to release the OLD!!!
I just remembered seeing a picture of Jesus on FB, where Jesus was asking a little girl to give Him her old ragged and tattered SMALL teddy bear.
The little girl was afraid to hand over her prized possession as she could not see the much larger and finer teddy bear our Lord and Savior wanted to RENEW to her!!
There's THAT word again:

Next week we are scheduled to begin CONSTRUCTION of a Mother-In-Law suite in my home-my M-I-L is 83 years old and will spend the remainder of her life with us-Lord willing!!
I HATE CONSTRUCTION as, like I said earlier, RENEWING/RENOVATION/CHA-CHA-CHA-CHANGES is AT FIRST messy!!!
I HATE/DREAD the FACT that I will have to be reluctantly dragged-kicking and screaming all the way-out in my MESSY garage and attic AND storage building-
FORCED to make decisions on what to keep and what to LET GO!!
It WILL be a PAINFUL chore for me-I HATE CONSTRUCTION!
Have I mentioned that fact???
BUT-in a matter of just a few mere weeks, something NEW and BEAUTIFUL, and BENEFICIAL will be CONSTRUCTED!
Out of the utter chaos will be order!!
Out with the old/in with the new!!!
Our God is in the remodeling business!!!
He DELIGHTS in RENOVATING/RENEWING His precious children-You and I!!
Ephesians 4:22-24 (KJV)
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Is God trying to RENEW/RENOVATE you today!!??

God knows what He's about.
