This Saturday is national BATMAN DAY! This is a day to celebrate all things related to the caped crusader. We will have some giveaways and a sale on all BAT-Products on Saturday
In addition, we will be holding a SIDEWALK SALE in conjunction with local businesses on Melrose Avenue shopping district. It will be a great day to walk the famous Melrose Ave and get some great deals!
The next in-store creator event is for UNTAMED Hardcover on 10/30. This was a recent successful Kickstarter project by Stranger Comics. If you helped support and fund this Kickstater, pick up your copy at the official Celebration party at Golden Apple on Wednesday September 30th from 6-9pm. If you didn't, it is your first change to grab a copy of this amazing original graphic novel/.
Last week, I released a pre-sale of our next exclusive variant for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #50 . This week, I am excited to show you the 2nd "Cereal Box" variant we have coming up: BACK TO THE FUTURE #1
Also, this week begins a new TV line-up of comic-related shows to watch: Gotham, Heroes Reborn and more. Personally, I can't wait to watch Supergirl on 10/26.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we have a date and time confirmed for our annual event with horror masters JOHN & SANDY KING CARPENTER. The dynamic duo and a handful of amazing creators will be at Golden Apple on SUNDAY OCTOBER 25TH AT 1PM. They will be signing a brand new graphic novel anthology of 6 short stories guaranteed to scare the pants off of you. It is a book entitled: John Carpenters' Tales of Halloween!
