Good Morning All -
I still can't beleive that Comic-Con is THIS WEEK, what?
Anyway, I'll be driving down Wednesday for preview night with several missions:
-Score some EXCLUSIVES to bring back to Golden Apple for those that couldn't make it or didn't find the good stuff.
-Network with Publishers and Creators to hook up more awesome events at the shop
-Try to find the next BIG thing for my Production Co. to sell to Hollywood
-Meet up with friends and fellow retailers to share ideas, stories, etc.
-DRINK BEER! I bought tickets to
HOP-CON 3.0 at Stone Brewery with Wil Wheaton, Kevin Eastman and many others. The beer tastes even better this year because some proceeds go to Hero Initiative charity.
I don't have any solid advice for those of you joining me in San Diego for a few days EXCEPT, stay away from HALL H!
Really, don't waste all of your time at Con waiting in line.

Every year, we host a post-con bash. This year our annual party at Golden Apple will be held on JULY 13th FROM 5-9pm
AFTER-CON MONDAY MEET-UP
Join us on the MONDAY After-Con to share stories, grab con exclusives and get autographs and sketches from our special guests: The Pander Bros., Darick Robertson, Marc Andreyko and Brian Buccellato! Food & Drinks will be served including my newest batch of Burleyman Home Brews: After-Con Blonde
Now, my final soccer (Futbol) update:
TEAM USA WINS!!
After scoring a record 4 goals in the first 16 minutes of the game, including a hat trick by Superheroine Carli Lloyd, team USA won the game 5-2. This is the first win in 16 years and bragging rights for another 4 years, way to go ladies!
Lastly, tomorrow is my Mom's Birthday. I'm not going to tell you how old she is, but that today we are together moving her into a new place to live and it is FANTASTIC! She is SO excited to live in this new building and I am even more happy for her. I promised her that she would be moved in by her Birthday so I'm with her right now (yes, 7:00 am) making that happen for her. She deserves it!
