A Golden summer!

It's hard to believe we're already at the tail end of August, kids are back in school, and fall is peeking around the corner. But Golden is beautiful all seasons so...bring it, autumn! We're ready for you.

In the meantime, don't miss your favorite things about summer in Golden while they're still here. The Farmer's Market is still going strong and this Friday is an opportunity to enjoy First Fridays in Parfet Park sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, replete with live music, food, and beer and wine.

Just a reminder, this week the Community Center is closed for maintenance and deep cleaning, but annual pass members can go to the Wheat Ridge Rec Center during the closure. The GCC reopens September 2, but will close again on September 4, along with City of Golden administrative offices, in observance of Labor Day.

Keep reading for more happening in the City, and have a happy, safe Labor Day weekend!
