Swinging vs. Hitting

I believe that one of the most important things to do in the golf swing is to create torque. Specifically, we want to stress the club as much as possible so this occurs. Swinging and hitting are the two basic, but different, ways to create torque in the swing.  Please watch the video for a full explanation.
Complimentary TaylorMade Fitting

Taylor Made

The new twist face technology is showing great promise on the PGA Tour right now. Please watch the video for a full explanation of why this new science is working for the world's best players and how it might work for you. In addition to the driver, the new 790 irons are also popular because players are hitting the ball noticeably higher and farther than with a conventional iron.

The club fitters from the TaylorMade Kingdom will be on hand at Stadium Golf Center on Saturday, February 24th.
This fitting is normally expensive if you travel to the Kingdom in Carlsbad but it is complimentary at our facility. Please take advantage of this offer if you would like to see how these clubs can benefit you. Contact me at [email protected] if you would like to make an appointment. I will have Stadium will contact you directly for your appointment time. Times are between 9:00 to 4:00 but spots are limited.

12 Terrific Golf Trick Shots By Tania Tare

I wish I could do some of these myself.

I hope you enjoy.

Student Of The Month

My student of the month for February is Elaine Wynn. Elaine has shown remarkable progress. She is hitting the ball farther and straighter and her scores are showing it. She has fired a few low rounds and her index has moved from a 16 to a 14 in 2 short months.
Congratulations on your progress Elaine!!

Jeremy Klinkhamer is here to give the fitness tip of the month. This month's video shows you an exercise called bridges. This exercise will help you create strength and stability in your gluts to improve your leg and hip action.

I have been working with Jeremy since 2000. I have sent many students to him to improve both their fitness and functionality. I have seen amazing results! The evidence is both in the way they feel and the improvement that has been shown in their golf games. Please contact Jeremy Klinkhamer at [email protected] if you would like more information about what he offers.
Short Game School

My next short game school will be given on Sunday, February 18th from 9:00 to noon. Chipping, pitching, pitching from the rough, sand shots and putting will be covered in this school. Each student will have their putting stroke computer analyzed in the putting studio. All students will also receive a short game school booklet that contains text and video for each shot covered. The maximum student to teacher ratio is 5:1 and the cost is $160.

Please contact me at  [email protected] if you are interested in attending.
