Many players have a hard time getting their body in an optimum position to strike down into the ball. This video will explain how the hips should move laterally to make sure that your body motion is helping rather than hurting you in your golf swing.

Ireland Trip

I recently came back from a trip to Ireland with 10 of my students. We had a fabulous time!! We played 5 out of the top 10 courses in Ireland. The accommodations, transportation and the food were all wonderful. The weather pretty much cooperated as well. I am planning on taking another group to Scotland next August. These pictures are just a taste of the experience. We did travel by deluxe bus but dreamed of going by helicopter.

Kingdom Coming To Stadium

Taylor Made

The club fitters from the TaylorMade Kingdom are coming to Stadium Golf Center on Saturday, October 7th. This is your chance to have the Kingdom experience in your own backyard. You have the opportunity to try the whole TaylorMade line with one of these great fitters helping you. I recommend the 790 and 730 irons. I feel that they are a real improvement over last year's models.

Please contact Monty Leong at (858)277-6667 to reserve your fitting appointment if you are interested.
Phil Getting Advice

You never know when you might receive some good advice. (Funny)
Student Of The Month

My Student Of The Month is Bill Sailer. Bill is a  Masters Member. He has been working steadily on all facets of his game and has shown great improvement. Bill has improved his scoring prowess as well. He has gone from a 12.4 and is now at an all time low of 8.6.
Keep up the good work Bill!!

Full Brachiation
Jeremy Klinkhamer is here to give the fitness tip of the month. This month's video shows you a great exercise to improve your shoulder flexibility.  This exercise also can definitely be used as a warmup before a round of golf.

I have been working with Jeremy since 2000. I have sent many students to him to improve both their fitness and functionality. I have seen amazing results! The evidence is both in the way they feel and the improvement that has been shown in their golf games. You can reach Jeremy at if you would like more information about what he offers.
Short Game School
My next short game school will be given on Sunday, September 24th from 9:00 to noon. Chipping, pitching, pitching from the rough, sand shots and putting will be covered in this school. Each student will have their putting stroke computer analyzed in the putting studio. All students will also receive a short game school booklet that contains text and video for each shot covered. The maximum student to teacher ratio is 5:1 and the cost is $160.

Please contact me at if you are interested in attending.
