Good Deeds Day Community Cleanup

For anyone interested in helping with the community cleanup project on Good Deeds Day, here is some info on where to go!

This is a great outdoor activity for families, and b'nai mitzvah students who want to earn credit towards "acts of loving kindness" on their 13 Mitzvot.

Updated Schedule: Please meet at the picnic area behind Douglass Community Center in Leesburg at or before 9:30 Sunday morning for snacks and to socialize for a few minutes. We will then walk down to the trail, pick up work gloves, trash bags and grabbers, and start our activity. Need to stop at CSS first? That's OK, we'll be on site until 11:20 then head back to CSS for lunch so arrive whenever.

What to wear: Shoes that can get muddy, clothes that can get dirty, layers for cool/warm temps.

What to bring: Refillable drink container and a positive outlook! Whether you pick up one piece of junk or haul away an armful of tires, you'll have fun exploring with friends and family.
