Good Enough For Me! 5/27/15

Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.    

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, PRAY!!??

WHY is PRAYER and SEEKING GOD, SEEKING THE WILL, PLAN AND  

DIRECTION/LEADING OF GOD TOO OFTEN THE LAST, DESPERATE CHOICE??

PRAYER is HARD work!

PRAYER is ego-defeating/deflating WORK!!!

John the Baptist uttered an INCREDIBLE statement:

John 3:30 (KJV)
30  He must increase, but I must decrease.

Jesus said, "FOR WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING!!!!"

John 15:5 (KJV)
5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Beloved, what part of Jesus Words do WE not understand!!!

OUR every breath, our very heart beat is overseen by God.

It is He and He alone that determines how long our lives to be!

3  Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

God LONGS/WANTS to be NEEDED and ASKED!!!!!

5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

This is a VERY simple message-IF YOU CONFESS THE LORD TODAY-CALL HIM UP!!!

If YOU need a J-O-B-CALL HIM UP!!!!

A young member of this Church recently went to college for a SPECIFIC job/career!!

She REFUSED to take any lesser job, stubbornly rejecting sound and loving advice from family and friends.

She well knew what she wanted and knew that she had taken all the PHYSICAL stepes required to accomplish her goal.

She also knew what the Bible says:

Psalm 37:4 (KJV)
4  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.    

WE Must:

Psalm 37:5 (KJV)
5  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

SPECIFIC PRAYER!!!

I could easily site personal EXAMPLE after EXAMPLE of SPECIFIC PRAYER our God has answered for me!!!

BUT WE FAIL TO PRAY!!!!

James 4:2 (KJV)
2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
