| Good News--Fewer Doctors Willing to Do Abortions! | A new report indicates that the number of physicians willing to do abortions is declining. The study, published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology, found that only 14 percent of the ob/gyn doctors surveyed would consent to performing abortions. That's down from the 22 percent who said they would be willing to do abortions in a 2008 survey. Female doctors were more likely than male physicians to say they would be willing to perform abortions.
