Greetings!
Fall at the sewing school has been very exciting. Students have worked on everything from
simple skirts to Chanel style jackets. We have won multiple ribbons at the Tennessee State Fair, including Best of Show Adult Clothing, Best of Show Teenagers, Best Clothing Construction for Adults and Best Clothing Construction for Teens, the People's Choice Award, plus many blue ribbons. I am so proud of the work of all of my students.
We topped off the fall with our annual sewing retreat weekend at Montgomery Bell State Park. It was chilly this year but there was still some color on the leaves. This is a great time to relax and sew with other very talented women.
Registration is now open for our winter classes. There are several new offerings, along with our regular classes. Be sure and check out the
FREE
class in January. Come try us out and sign up for a class. There is so much to learn about sewing and we have so much to offer.
As usual, we keep our classes small--8 maximum--so we can offer individual attention.
Merry Christmas,
Hugs,
Marguerite
