Season of Service & Learning

The past 7 weeks were an intense season for ENP of mobilizing and equipping the Church for multiple outreaches. Here's a summary of this last month and a half:

Serve Fresno
Once upon a time, Serve Fresno was a 1-day event. It shifted to a week-long event in 2013. But in reality it is pretty much the entire month of March. This year it kicked off on March 2nd when Fresno Christian High mobilized 220 students to serve all over the city. They raked, painted, cleaned, organized and did a handful of other services in our neighborhoods. With each passing week we saw churches, life groups and other Christian groups serve in Fresno and Clovis. This all culminated for Serve Fresno week, March 25th thru March 31st. Many of Fresno's community based organizations were blessed with added manpower for their community efforts.

Fresno City Summit
ENP assisted in Fresno's 10th annual City Summit. This year saw over 300 in attendance and, amazingly, half of those folks were at City Summit for the first time!! These folks attended workshops on a multitude of topics so they could learn how to best pray and serve in our community.

Luis Palau CityFest
ENP actively participated in this month's CityFest outside the Save Mart Center at Fresno State. We helped to lead up the CityServe component, and our service projects helped the Church point toward this amazing event so folks could hear the Gospel from Luis Palau and his team. This event saw over 22,000 guests and over 1,000 gave their life to Christ at the event.

Spring Break
This past week was Spring Break, which to ENP means middle and high schoolers serving all over town!! This past week we had about 600 students and adults serving in various ways while learning about their community.

The Whole Gospel
The word "Gospel" literally means "Good News" in Greek. So as we talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ we are talking about the Good News of Jesus. Our heart at ENP is to help you and your church be a blessing to our city and to point others to Christ. As we go about the work of pointing others to the Good News of Jesus we have to ask... Is your gospel actually good news to the people of Fresno? Can people taste and see it? Do you have a whole gospel?  Read More...
