Spider Sparks Controversy

In a collaborative effort, artist Gordon Huether was recently awarded a public art project for a parking structure in Morgan Hill, CA. One installation in particular, entitled The Spider, has sparked brisk conversations among locals and has already earned 'celebrity status' as it has been featured in multiple press publications and has become the talk of the town! The Spider 

This installation subverts the tarantula's fearsome presence by re-imagining it as a whimsical, three-dimensional arachnid crawling up the facade of the Parking Structure's Fourth Street entrance.
