From the Head of School

Hello Goshen families,

After several months of quiet hallways and empty classrooms, what a joy it was today to hear the children's happy voices back at school! Many thanks to all of the teachers who worked extra hard to get everything ready, and to all of the parents who made our dual carline a great success. It was a smooth start to what will be a fabulous new school year!

If you have not yet updated your student's information in our new online database, My Student Progress (MSP), please do so as soon as possible. We rely on the information you provide to help us understand your child's medical background, dietary considerations, emergency contact information, and learning style.

Please note that all of the categories in your student's profile are important, and we appreciate the time that it took to fill in all of the fields. Families who skipped any of the fields are encouraged to go back into your account and update any incomplete information.

Access MSP directly by clicking on this link; you can also find the link on the front page of the GFS websiteThank you!
Goshen Parent Community

The GPC meeting for planning the October 14 Fall Harvest Fair is this Friday, September 15, at 9 a.m. (after carline) in the Meetinghouse. Free Extended Care will be provided. To register for free Extended Care, please fill out the online form by the end of day Tuesday by clicking here. When filling out the form, please note that you are requesting care for the GPC meeting. Thank you!

The regular monthly meeting of the GPC will be Friday, September 29, at 9 a.m.
Extended Care

Goshen Friends School is now accepting reservations for Extended Care for the 2017-18 school year. Read more about our Extended Care program on our website!

Extended Care is available to all Goshen students Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until at least 4 p.m. (Families who are seeking regular care beyond 4 p.m. should contact Mimi Ackers at 610-696-8189 to discuss.)

Extended Care is a terrific option for parents who wish to extend their child's day by providing an opportunity for children to enjoy their day off from morning classes, have lunch with friends, or explore enrichment activities together.

The best way to reserve Extended Care is to contract for care by completing the reservation agreement linked below. Care can be reserved in advance for a few days, several months, or the entire school year. Families can change the agreement at any time, but contracting for care ensures a lower hourly rate. Please note that families who would like their children to stay for Lunch Bunch must reserve care for the time period from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m.
