  • Open & Informal Stage - bring your musical instrument, your voice & favorite songs. Pick, sing & play together - like in the good 'ol days!

  • Music will be located indoors, downstairs in the Tour Barn & Silo

  • Silo Open House - educational farm silo - enjoy the view

  • Donations are welcome - suggested donation of $3 per person

Fiber Fest Weekend Retreat

June 19, 20 & 21     Thursday, Friday & Saturday               

  8:30 am - 3:30 pm

  • Learn how to process fiber (any kind of fiber - we will teach with wool.)

  • Includes all of our 3 single day workshops, for a discount, in one super fiber weekend.

  • Lessons will include washing, dying, wet felting, carding, picking, spindling, spinning, needle felting and weaving.

  • Each participant will take home many finished products.

  • Class minimum of two people. Class max of 20 people.

  • Our classes go a step farther than regular classes - we teach some history of fiber arts, and practical technology.

  • Retreat Fee: $150 ($90 reduction compared to taking individual classes.

  • Retreat with overnight accommodations at Country Inn Bed and Breakfast (just around the corner from the farm) - 2 nights & breakfasts for an additional $100; 3 nights & breakfasts for an additional $150.

Weaving Retreats - 201 & 301

Weaving 201: July 2 & 3 - Wednesday & Thursday

 

Weaving 301: September 4, 5, 6 Thursday, Friday & Saturday

8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Weaving 201 - Weaving on a harnessed loom - Learn weaving on a loom with a harness. Each participant will take home a finished product. Cost: $133 Fiber is included.

Weaving 301 - Weaving on a harnessed floor loom - We will learn weaving on a loom with a harness. This is a three day class. Each participant will take home a finished product. Cost: $233 Fiber is included.

  • No hidden fees, rental fees or material fees. All are included.
  • Weaving 101 is prerequisite for 201; 201 prerequisite for 301           (or comparable class)

Now selling - Grass Fed Beef 

Ground Burger - lean, natural, pasture raised, pasture fed, Dexter - from Shepherd's Cross. Dexter meat is classified as one of the meats on the "SLOW FOOD" list. Healthy, and extra nutritious. We do not use hormones, chemicals or feed corn. Our livestock is born, and lives out in the green pastures on the farm. Our Dexter cattle live side by side with our AWA Shepherd's Cross sheep flock.  Only $6.50 per pound - burger.
