We've got Spring! Inside our beautiful new greenhouse, we're growing some beautiful pansies, violas, hanging baskets and flowers, our organic herb and veggie plants, and more!
Five lambs (four white, one black) have arrived, and one more on the way. You can come in to the Farm Market daily, 9am - 6 pm to see our baby chicks, along with delicious fresh salad and cooking greens picked from inside our two huge unheated "high tunnels" that help us beat the cold outside.
It's a festival every weekend in April! We are personally looking forward to taking all the workshops at our new HERB-fest (April 16-17), to learn how to use herbs in cleaning products, foods, salves, and more. Next comes BABY ANIMAL WEEKEND (April 23-24) followed by TulipFest (April 30-May 1), and our annual MOTHER'S DAY SPECTACULAR (May 7-8).
Eat. Grow. Enjoy!
Best wishes,
Chris and Eve

When Can I Plant...
hearty flowers like pansies? ....
lettuce seedlings?...
pumpkin seeds?...
tomato seedlings?...
DID YOU KNOW
cactus make a great starter plant for kids?
They are very hardy and need little care, and give kids that sense of ownership and accomplishment that will carry through to adulthood! Eve's first plant was a cactus that she got in 5th grade in school.
In the greenhouse we shelter our heat-loving plants including:
- pretty neon cactus
- gardenias
- ferns and Boston Ferns
- houseplants and houseplant hanging baskets (a great space saver!)
- and much more
